The ingredients needed to prepare Chinese Paneer:
- Get Paneer
- Get large onion largely diced
- Use ginger cut into Julien
- You need onion paste
- You need soya sauce
- Provide green chilli sauce
- Use vinegar
- Get refined oil
- You need refined oil for deep frying
- Provide salt
- You need corn flour
- Use water
- Prepare garlic chopped
- Prepare green chillies chopped
- You need ginger paste
- Prepare garlic paste
- Provide crushed black pepper
Steps to make Chinese Paneer:
- Prepare all ingredients
- Deep fry panner cubes in 1cup oil for 2 to 3 minutes. We dont have to fry to brown colour… only slight golden brown will do.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a kadhai or wok and add paste of ginger and paste of garlic and fry for 30 sec and then add diced onion and cook until translucent
- Add green chilli, ginger jullien, chopped or sliced garlic and onion paste and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Now mix chilli sauce, vinegar, salt, soya sauce well and pour into kadhai. mix well and cook for 3 minutes
- Now add fried paneer cubes, crushed black pepper and give a mix.. cover and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Now mix corn flour and water to make a thin batter
- Pour little by little of this corn batter into the paneer and mix constantly but gently.
- Adjust the thickness of your gravy with water. Add more salt if you want.
- Cook for 4 to 5 minutes and your chinese paneer is ready.
- Serve with rumali roti, chapati, fried rice….
